Robert
Temple--lead and background vocals, acoustic guitar, assorted
percussion. Robert's
deep connection to music began while listening to recordings of
his mother's folk singing in the basement of his New Jersey home.
Listening to rock and roll, R&B, and later funk and rhythmic
international dance music, as well as working and living with people
of diverse cultures in Chicago, Detroit, and Cleveland, and driving
a taxicab in the streets of San Francisco, all helped form the
basis for his stories and his style. Combining
his love of the groove with insightful social commentary and
a storyteller's style, he outlines a unique musical vision:
sensitive, sexy, passionate and sometimes humorous. His song "Clearcut" is
a call to defend nature and
"Who Drops the Bomb on the Ones Who Drop the Bomb" rings
truer now than when it was written. |

| Robert
has been the leader of two active Bay Area bands, Unruly World

The life and times
of....
Justus Dobrin, originally from Oakland,CA ( the land where they made
the mack)... grew up enraptured by the sounds of his old man's record
collection. At the ripe age of seven his Mom thought it would be
a good ideafor him to take piano lessons-- initially, a ploy for
the socially inept youg man to 'meet chicks'. As this plan failed
miserably, Justus was left with nothing but a love of music, a strong
penchant for Dungeons and Dragonsand some heavy duty allergies. Time
passes on, and now we find a young master Dobrin enriching himself
with the vibrant musicalilty of the East Bay. Hip hop, funk, soul
gospel and jazz find thier way into his cd player and into his heart
as well. Justus studies with Ed Kelly, an old Oakland legend... some years later with Smith Dobson while attending
the Jazz program at Cabrillo College. |

Finally, at 25 , Justus decides
to attend the affamed Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA. Though
the cirriculum is stimulating and the players raise the performance
benchmark to new heights, Justus finds that the Mass commonwealth
is primarily constituted of jackasses. Justus currently resides in
Marin county, where he gigs regularly, and still has wicked allergies. |
